Sector 9 Shipsterns Complete Longboard - Bamboo

The Sector 9 Bamboo shipsterns is a fast, smooth riding board, a little shorter than the Pipeline and with a stylish swallow tail and a classic shape that is reminiscent of a classic fish surfboard. The shipsterns features a 'W' concave and mild camber to add to its strength while still allowing a nice amount of flex. The deck has cutouts where the wheels should hit to avoid wheel bite and let you turn as sharp as you would like. Same as the waimea from previous years, the new Bamboo Series longboards reflect Sector 9's dedication to producing innovative new products that take skateboarding to new levels. The deck features All Bamboo construction with clear grip-tape. They look great, function great, and are positive for the environment. Save a tree, ride a weed with the Bamboo Series.

Bamboo Series "shipsterns": With an eye towards the environment and a patented laminating process, we started making boards from 100% bamboo. An ideal raw material, bamboo can regenerate itself by up to 4 feet per week. Incredibly strong and resilient, it had to be made into a skateboard.
