The sector 9 bamboo ours longboard is made from 100% bamboo wood like all the longboards in the sector 9 bamboo series. The idea of using bamboo was to help the environment because bamboo can reproduce at amazing speeds, it can grow four feet in a week, unlike the more commonly used maple wood. Bamboo is also incredible strong and lightweight which allows the longboards to have a nice flex. Bamboo longboards are an amazing approach to help the environment go green and they make a beautiful looking longboard.
The sector 9 ours longboard is moderately stiff with a medium to shorter size wheelbase. It allows for quick easy maneuvering. It has a kicktail that makes it great for cruising around town, or for grocery getting in the city.
